About My First Pandemic

“This is a watershed moment in world history. A once-in-a-lifetime inflection point. We can either use it to irrigate our souls, cultivate world peace, and save our Planet, or flush it down the toilet. The choice is ours.”

It has now been 17 months since the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic; the worst global pandemic in over 100 years. It has caused disruption and misery for many people around the world. We in the US are luckier than most, with 50% of Americans “fully vaxed.” But new deadlier variants, such as the Delta Variant, are now spreading resulting in more and more “breakthrough cases,” i.e. where fully vaccinated people are getting infected with Covid-19 and spreading it through their communities, mask and vaccine mandates are starting to be imposed in many States and “vaccine passports” seem to be on the horizon in many nations, including the US. It is questionable how long it will take to get back to “normal,” if ever.
